The Mursion Portal makes it easy to share a link to specific scenarios with your learners. To copy a link for your desired scenario, please follow the steps outlined below. Additionally, included below is information on how you can grant scenario access to learners using these links.
Copying the Scenario Link
- Navigate to the Mursion Portal and log in as an account owner.
- Click Projects and select the Project with the scenario you wish to access.
- At the bottom of the project page, you will see all the scenarios included in the project. Select the scenario you wish to copy the link for.
- Depending on the type of scenario, this page may look a little different. To copy the link to the scenario, click Copy Scenario Invite Link. This will automatically copy the link to your clipboard for you to paste for your learners.
By default, this link will only work for learners who already have access to the scenario through your Mursion team assignments. If you want learners who may not have been added to the team to be able to access the scenario after using the link, you can configure this link to automatically add learners to the team for the scenario.
Please note, if you are NOT using single-sign on learners must already have a Mursion account in order for this to grant them access. If you are using single-sign on, this process will allow the learner to create their account (if your SSO system allows it) and add them to the team granting them access to the scenario.
- On the scenario page, click the Assigned Teams tab at the top. This will show you all teams who currently have access to the scenario. You can adjust these teams by clicking the Add Teams button. Only learners actively on the listed teams will be able to view or schedule this simulation.
- If you would like learners who clicked the link you copied above to have access to the scenario regardless of if they were previously assigned to the team, you can toggle ON the auto-assign checkbox for one or more teams. When enabled, learners who access this scenario who did not previously have access to the scenario will be automatically added to the indicated teams and will be able to view and schedule the scenario. If a learner previously had access to the scenario, their team assignments will not change when they use the link.
Mursion suggests creating a new team specifically for this auto-assign feature. This approach enables you to track which learners accessed the scenario via the link and did not have prior access.
