Viewing, Sharing, and Downloading a Simulation Recording

Want to see how well you did in your simulation? Here's how!

Note: Not all simulations are recorded

A recording of your simulation may not have been generated for one of the following reasons:

  • Sometimes our customers opt out of recording simulations. 
  • Recordings of group sessions (sessions with multiple learners experiencing simulations in a fishbowl style) require the consent of all attendees, so if you were in a group session, and one person did not wish to be recorded, you will not receive a video. 
  • If you opted out of recording, no recording will be generated for your session.

Accessing Simulation Recordings

If your simulation was recorded, you can access the recording approximately 48 hours later in the Mursion Portal. 

Depending on your organization's settings, your recordings will display in one of two ways: with an Enhanced Report or Standard Report.

Mursion Enhanced Simulations

  • Log into your account in the Mursion Portal.
  • Navigate to the dashboard and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see your completed sessions here.
  • Find the session that you want to view the recording of, and click "view report".

  • Your session recording will display on the main page labeled "Session Replay".
  • You can also share from this page.

  • If you click the share button, you will be given a prompt to share your recording.

  • You, or your recipient, will be emailed a link to the video from <no-reply@mursion.com>.

Mursion Standard Simulations

  • Log into your account in the Mursion Portal.
  • Navigate to the dashboard and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see your completed sessions here.
  • Find the session that you want to view the recording of, and click "view report".
  • On the next page, you will see tabs for "Report", "Recording", and "Session Details".

  • Click on the "Recording" tab.

  • You can also share your recording from this page by clicking on the "Share Video Link" button.

  • If you click the "Share Video Link" button, you will be given a prompt to share your recording.

  • You, or your recipient, will be emailed a link to the video from <no-reply@mursion.com>.
  • If that button does not appear, then permissions to share the video have been disabled. If you believe this is in error, please reach out to your program admin to get that corrected.
  • To save your recording, simply right click on the video, and click "Save Video".
