November 24th, 2025

  • Added scenario images to the on-demand pathway page.
  • Updated the on-demand simulation to automatically end the session if the user goes unresponsive.
  • Updates to reduce latency around the session card.
  • Resolved some minor font and button UI issues on the pathway page.
  • Updated the messaging on the countdown screen when you exceed the two minute wait.
  • Updated tabbing to be accessible on the new user profile page.
  • Resolved an issue where key moments that did not have a correlated time stamp were showing on the on-demand learner report; these will no longer show to the user.

November 17th, 2025

  • Fixed a display issue on the On-Demand learner report where the scrollbar overlapped Key Moments in certain browsers.
  • Resolved an issue where participants could still see the Scheduled Simulations button after their projects had been closed.
  • Fixed a bug preventing SSO users from seeing the On-Demand Simulation button on their learner dashboard immediately after registering.
  • Corrected a minor UI issue causing the timezone on the profile page to display incorrectly on iPad devices.
  • Updated tooltips on the new profile page.

    The Mursion logo has been updated across the Portal and all system emails.

  • The registration email learners receive when their account is created now includes updated language and imagery for a clearer, more engaging experience. See the update email to the right -->

  • Learners with On-Demand access will now land directly on their new Pathway Page experience. Those with access to both On-Demand and Live simulations will see a new button that makes it easy to switch between the two.

  • Learners can now access their profile directly from the Pathway Page navigation.

  • On-Demand scenarios now support scenario and team links, while Live simulation links will continue to work as expected.

November 3rd, 2025 - On-Demand Updates

  • Introduced a new Pathway page for on-demand simulations, giving learners a clearer view of their available and completed scenarios with an updated Mursion-branded design.

  • Added a navigation pane that makes it easy for learners to switch between pathways and quickly find all available on-demand simulations.

  • Added a new recording consent pop-up so learners are clearly notified that recording is required before starting an on-demand simulation.

  • Improved feedback report delivery speed — reports are now generated while learners complete their reflections, so feedback is often available immediately after finishing the simulation.

October 3rd, 2025 - On-Demand Updates

  • Avatars now gently check in if a learner is inactive for several seconds, helping keep conversations on track.
  • Improved speech handling so learners can speak naturally, even with pauses or fragments, without being cut off.
  • Resolved an issue where the system could become unresponsive; it now re-connects automatically after a short delay.

  • Reduced delay between speakers in multi-avatar simulations for smoother turn-taking.

  • Avatars now look toward the current speaker more often for more natural group interactions. 

September 2nd, 2025 - On-Demand Updates

  • On-demand avatar voices now sound more natural, with improved emotion, cadence, and flow, while increasing stability and decreasing latency.
  • Resolved an issue where avatars occasionally produced gibberish or uttered “Ahh.” 
  •  Improved end-of-turn detection and audio processing during interruptions.
  • Scene Transitions: further improved premature scene transition timing with improved end-of-conversation detection.
  • The session and video recording now begin only after the participant clicks the “Start Session” button on the “Host is ready to guide you!” screen. UI note added at the top of the screen informs participants.
  • Host and scenario avatars' body language expanded with “stillness” animations. This change reduces the frequency of hand gesture animations.
  • The male host avatar's body language has been expanded to include a new hands-clasped posture.

August 25th, 2025

  • Updated administrator view to include visibility of On-Demand Projects on Project, Team, and Users Pages, including providing admins the ability to adjust team assignments on On-Demand Scenarios.
  • Updated On-Demand sessions to include a recording icon in session. 
  • Updated Microphone and Camera selection screen on On-Demand sessions to include notice about recording. 
  • Updated On-Demand session recordings to only begin when user clicks Get Started.
  • Resolved an issue where the On-Demand session countdown screen was not showing the correct goal for all scenarios. 

August 11th, 2025

  • Added a new countdown screen to On-Demand sessions to provide better clarity around wait-time and more context about upcoming scenario. 
  • Updated the On-Demand access header and button wording. 
  • Resolved an issue that prevented users from booking same-day sessions on Sundays.
  • Fixed an error learners encountered when viewing recordings if the simulation feedback survey was disabled.

August 4th, 2025 - On-demand updates

  • Updated On-Demand session availability to be available 24/7! 
  • Preemptive Transition: resolved an issue where the host would transition to scenario scene before completing conversation.
  • Updated the Blue "Get Started" screen
  • Added a fade out to white effect has been added to reflection scene as participants exit the simulation to aid in mental transition
  • Sofia received a new AI voice with better pace, inflection, and tone.
  • Female host avatar body language has been expanded to include a new hands clasped posture.
  • The host will now ask if the participant has used Mursion before and gives additional background on what to expect if first time.

July 28th, 2025 - On-Demand Updates

  • Fixed an issue where avatar could hear and respond to learners during scene transitions.
  • Fixed an issue where session recording audio and video were out of sync for the learner and the avatar.
  • Enhanced skin rendering to eliminate uneven lighting and create a smooth, natural glow.
  • Expanded the female host avatar’s body language with a new hands-clasped posture set.

July 28th, 2025 - On-Demand Updates

  • The guide now responds quickly and naturally to participants who are ready to skip the intro and move directly into the simulation.
  • Anne is more responsive in the Providing Feedback on a Direct Report's Communication Style scenario.
  • Ann’s voice was updated with a high-quality option featuring greater emotional range.
  • Synchronization between scene reveals and when the avatar first speaks was enhanced, resulting in smoother, more seamless transitions.
  • Resolved an issue that occasionally prevented users from connecting.
  • Resolved an issue that caused avatars to become unresponsive
  •  Resolved an issue where avatars sometimes verbalized the prompt language such as “Step 1 Hey there...”.
  • Resolved an issue where avatars would sometimes repeat the same line twice.
  • Eliminated occasional static noise heard by learners during interactions.
  • Resolved an issue where avatars’ voices would become emotionally unstable.
  • Avatars no longer incorrectly refer to themselves by their own name.
