AI-powered Simulations — Tech Implementation and Network Requirements

AI Network Requirements

UDP and TCP connections to the following destinations must be allowed for AI-powered simulations.

Running the AI Connection Diagnostic

Connect to your normal network or VPN.
Open a supported browser and go to https://connection-test.mursion.com/.
Click Run Test.

The diagnostic takes about 30 seconds and shows a green check or red X for each step it tests.

Reading Results and the Error Table

Error	What it means
TCP Connection failure	Suggests a network-level block on .livekit.cloud .turn.livekit.cloud.
Device in Use	Another app or browser tab is holding your camera or microphone.
Permission Denied / Permission Timeout	Camera or microphone access wasn't granted in time.
Requested Device Not Found	The selected device isn't connected, or is blocked at the operating system level.
LiveKit Connectivity	Points to blocked UDP ports that will need IT follow-up.

When to Contact Support

If you receive any red X results, click Copy Results on the diagnostic page and send them to support@mursion.com. In many cases, we'll need to work directly with your IT team to confirm the AI network allowlist above has been applied correctly.
